King Pan Festival of Yao ethnic minority in Mangshan Mountain, Yizhang County is a festival to pay homage to their ancestor King Pan, which falls on the 16th day of October in the lunar calendar every year.
The activity is divided into the sacrifice and the celebration. When offering sacrifices, it is necessary to sing “King Pan Song”, which traces back to the origin of humanity, the origin of the Yao ethnic minority, and the migration process.
